Problem: The major objective of the proposed product is to checkmate the effect of electric power outage, minimize physical and economic losses and damages through an environment friendly and cost-effective system

Unique Selling Point: In recent times, a number of studies have been made regarding the utilization of the Motor-generator set for the generation of electricity; to overcome the menaces of epileptic, unclean and expensive electricity in developing economy. However, a lot of these studies have major constraints; such as, low efficiency, inappropriate battery capacity with no serious attention given to effective charging of the battery that drives the DC motor. This proposed product, therefore, addresses the abovementioned constraints; through the incorporation of a hybrid charger to ensure continuous operation of the system, the proper and comprehensive design of DC motor and generator considering speed ratio, and the appropriate design of battery capacity factoring losses during charging into considerations.
