USE OF INFRARED LIGHT AS AUTOMATIC SWITCH FOR PUMPING MACHINE

Innovations Item Code: 7308b26cde

Stage of Innovation: Proof of Concept (You have created something to show the innovation can work)

Problem: 90% of automatic pumping machine switch uses a floater and because of it is always moving, it tends to spoil fast or get damaged by water. my research showed their average lifetime is 3 months With the use of infrared light, there will be no need of any non-static part and this will greatetly increase the lifetime (to decades) while decreasing size, weight, and cost. it also eliminates the need for contact with the water being measured.

Unique Selling Point: People are using floater as sensor which is not the best because it is mechanical, mobile and interfaces with the water thereby contaminating it, other people are using Arduino which is not cost effective hence, un-marketable. my solution is different in that I am using light emitter and receiver as my sensor, amplifiers and relays as my switching mode and basically I am moving from electrical switches to Electronic switches, which is faster, more durable and and highly sensitive
