Problem: A gap in sustainable and ethical manufacturing in the retail fashion industry, as it relates to the sub-Saharan region, compounded by exploitative labor, unfair wages, and inflexible and unfavorable working conditions.
Unique Selling Point: While there are many retail fashion brands actively employing ESG strategies to make their business and ultimately, the fashion industry, more sustainable, reports show that there are still very few who know where their merchandise comes from or have entered into active relationships their suppliers to mitigate the social and environmental impact of garment production. With our solution, we are able to connect directly and individually with the actual tailors and garment workers who make our clothing, produce locally and conserve resources by utilizing existing equipment and space.
