Unique Selling Point: People mostly rely on using traditional pit latrines, flush toilets connected to centralized sewage systems, or other types of toilets. These solutions may result in environmental and health problems, such as contamination of water sources and the spread of diseases. In rural communities these solutions rarely even exist. The Ecolo ecological toilet solution is different in that it aims to address these issues by providing a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way of disposing of human waste. By separating urine and feces, and using them as fertilizers or biogas feedstock, the solution not only prevents pollution but also provides a source of renewable energy and soil nutrients. Additionally, the solution can be implemented in areas where traditional sewage systems may not be available or cost-effective.
