Unique Selling Point: Currently, people use traditional methods such as incubators and radiant warmers and space warmers for neonatal hypothermia. These methods are effective, but they can be expensive, require copious amount of power, difficult to operate, stationary and may not be accessible in resource-limited settings. Our solution, NeoBlankey, is designed to address these issues. It is safe, affordable, and easy to use, with a unique dual function to manage hypothermia and ensure safe transportation of babies to treatment facilities. It is energy-efficient, with a fluid that has a high heat capacity, and uses low heat conductivity materials for insulation. Our solution has the potential to reduce neonatal mortality in resource-limited settings, providing a much-needed solution to the challenges posed by existing methods.
