Problem: Rural smallholder farmers in Nigeria underestimate the Negative impact of food waste on their productivity, income, livelihood and economy. Yearly, over 364 million metric tonnes of food are accounted for as post harvest loss, with fruits and vegetables reported to be 50% loss contributing 6% global green house gases according to UNEP and WRAP.

Unique Selling Point: Storage facilities deployed over time are costly and powered by electricity or generator, which are not reliable or available in some rural communities, they also contribute to carbon emmision with negative impact on our climate. Our Smart Farm cooler (SFC) is an off grid, climate smart, low cost highly effective automated locally fabricated cooling facility with Zero energy consumption, it is powered by nature, data and Artificial Intelligence (A.I) to maintain required atmospheric conditions to maintain quality and prolong vegetables and fruits shelf life's.
