Unique Selling Point: Value Addition / Employment Creation / Poverty aleviation, Agro-Process Technology Upgrade, etc, especially in the Local Cshew value chain: production of Cashew Nut Kernels (semi-processed & ready-to-eat, and CNSL) for local & export market. Out of about 350,000 Metric Tons Raw Cashew Nuts produced locally (with Enugu in the middle of the farm zone), over 80% is exported raw. The little fraction that feeds the local market is processed by old low eficient technology. Our venture will elicit modern backward integration, discret specie cashew plantations and well modern technology / commerce throughout the value chain.
