Problem: The Problem of House Hunting in Akwa Ibom State

Unique Selling Point: Specifically, to find house/accommodation today in Uyo takes an average person 7 active days without the service of an agents while it takes average of 4 days for one to find house with the aid of house-agents. It is estimated that every day at least 10 people are looking for houses, while some agent confirmed they received at least 7 calls per day for house. One out of every 11 accommodation must have problem ranging from fake house, impersonation of landlord etc. Also, house agent charge at least 10 percent of the cost of accommodation, this is also another problem house seekers are looking for ways to avoid. Conversely, house owners are also looking for ways to easily get tenants, some of them complain of maintaining empty room year in year out because of lack of tenants thereby running at a lost. There is a high level of disconnect between house owners and house seeker. Our software solution have the potency to solve this and made house hunting seamless. The major problems existing in the current system are: -Time wastage for house hunting - Arbitrary charge by middlemen - Cases of incredibility/fraud in the system, RentYourHouse is a software solution to solve the problem of house-hunting. It is a software providing market place for house seekers easily get house, meet with house owners resident within Uyo. The software is seeking to link house owners to house seekers thereby making it easy to find accommodation in Akwa Ibom. The software will be accessible via its websites, mobile App for both Android and IOS users. It will have at least of one thousand property listed per time. It will make possible for individual, Real estate Company, house agent to have and account on the site, list their property, with details such as picture, video address and contact details. House seekers can easily visit the site, search for houses of their choices and contact the owners, there will also be an option for payment to be made online while our staff and team of layers and realtors will verify and process it.
