Problem: 1.poor genetics which reduce the meat yield and performance of our livestock. Nigera is facing a food a silent food security crisis, its population is forecasted to increase to 377 million by 2050 with forecasted increased demand in livestock products expected to triple according to the FAO in that same time frame. Currently the country only produces 30% of its poultry needs and imports a lot of bovine livestock from neighboring African countries despite its huge landmass, large animal population and lush vegetation. To crown it all nigeria goat farmers expect an average of 23kg live weight from their goats after one whole year.this is unsustainable. 2.Unhealthy and substandard meat processing facilities in Nigeria. walking into meat markets in nigeria we see flies buzzing on meat and animals being slaughtered on the bare floor by workers with no PPE using crude tools and equipments. this pratices are a ticking bomb for lifestock zoonotic disease outbreaks which can lead to mortalities and loss of productive working man hours.

Unique Selling Point: Goat Breeding Most goat farmers focus on production and supply of only indigenious breeds without crossbreeding or selective breeding to enhance meat yield.few farmers who crossbreed,see only the financial gains and set exorbitant prices inhibiting adoption by other farmers.peptido will change this by selling our pure bred boer goats for an affordable price of #800,000 compared to 1.2m-1.6m offered by established breeders in nigeria. Nutrition Peptido targets planting pasture in a 1hectare farmland. This would enable us have excess quality feed for our goats in the rainy season which can be stored for sale to farmers in the dry season.we would also be collaborating with farmers to use various agricutural waste to supplement the feeding of our goats. Processing Peptido processes and adds value to our product using modern slaughter equipment and procedures. Increase meat yields by producing large numbers of crossbred that farmers can afford compared to pure exotic breeds. Sales and marketing Peptido will be using our sales shop to reach out to comsumers and create a unique shopping experience.we would advertise and engage with customers aggressively on social media to drive sales and visibility.
