Problem: Softwork is an affordable, multimedia learning app that provides courses in an alternative format with quizzes and past questions. It enables students to learn at their own pace and from anywhere, and offers weekly check-ins and community support. Softwork uses multi-media and technology to demonstrate real-life applications of concepts to boost understanding and make learning fun. Additionally, Softwork offers 21st-century skill courses that can help students earn income and create jobs, reducing unemployment and crime in Nigeria. Our revenue model is based on quarterly or semesterly subscriptions that give students access to our platform. As of now, we are operating in the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, where we have successfully onboarded over 500 learners and generated over N500,000. The projected population growth of Nigeria from 2025 to 2050 is both exhilarating and terrifying. According to Statista, over 70% of this massive population will be young people. This presents a unique opportunity to boost the economy to new heights, but it also means that we must confront the reality of soaring unemployment and crime rates.
