Problem: High cost of energy and carbon emission. The energy sector contributes 72% of the global 50 billion tons of CO2 emission per annum and this contributes largely to climate change that is threatening our existence. High Cost of energy is one of the problems our solution is solving. Affordability drives the choice of cooking energy and ThinkGas is an affordable and cleaner alternative. By using bio-waste for biogas generation, indiscriminate disposal of organic waste is minimized. Indiscriminate disposal of bio-waste and bio-waste in landfills, breeds diseases and threatens both human and animal lives. There are proofs that landfills can explode due to methane build up underneath the trash which could case devastating effects on the environment and the climate. Continuous use of fossil fuels to cook. Fossil fuels are not clean, they emit carbon in large quantity which causes environmental degradation and climate change.

Unique Selling Point: People are using firewood for cooking. Firewood generates smoke (carbon fumes), which is hazardous to the health (clogs the lung with cardon deposits overtime). They also inhale the poisonous carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) from the emissions. Firewood burning releases more carbon emission than burning coal or other fossil fuels. Some people are using kerosine stoves. Kerosine stoves also emits heavy amounts of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2), due to the poor combustion efficiency; some of which are inhaled by the users, and while there is high carbon emission into the atmosphere. Some BioGas production equipment exists for domestic purposes, but they are of basic designs; and are not efficient. ThinkGas is advanced and is designed to have an Optimizer, which regulates the temperature and pressure to keep them within their optimal ranges, as well as preventing the content biomass from stratifying. The Optimizer also transfers the produced gas, under compression, to a storage vessel. ThinkGas has an IoT function incorporated, which collects real time data, analysis the data and reports real-time performance of the equipment, transmits it online to user. The IoT enabled version will enable Pay-As-You-Go subscription, so users can make instalment payments and or to rent for use. These ThinkGas functionalities are not available in existing biogas generating systems in the global market; and there currently no version in the local market.
