Problem: Nigerians are in dire need of access to safe and healthy farm products, but this is often not the case. The use of harsh chemical fertilizers and preservatives is rampant and leads to the alteration of food and pollution of land, causing a high mortality rate due to food-related diseases. In fact, statistics show that 200,000 plus deaths are recorded annually in Nigeria, and 75% of cancer cases are caused by chemical pesticides. Our Focus: Addressing Agriculture and Food Sector Challenges in Nigeria At Qiqi Farms, we are dedicated to solving critical issues in the agriculture and food sector in Nigeria, including: • Unregulated use of harsh chemicals: The overuse of chemical fertilizers and preservatives has resulted in chemically altered food and land pollution, depleting the nutrient content of crops and leading to fatal food-related diseases. • Food shortage and insecurity: Insecurity caused by terrorism and banditry has led to a massive decline in farming and a shortage of food across the country, coupled with high food prices due to a lack of financial resources, poor government policies, and other circumstances. • Technological gap in agriculture: Many farmers in Nigeria struggle to make a profit due to a technological gap, including a lack of storage facilities, processing machines, and efficient logistics. We are committed to providing safe, organic, and high-quality food products to the people of Nigeria and addressing the challenges facing the agriculture and food sector in the country.

Unique Selling Point: Qiqi Farms is a leading Agrotech startup in Nigeria, using technology to enhance the production of local organic food products, making them accessible and affordable to all Nigerians. Founded in 2019, our goal is to reduce hunger, malnutrition, and food waste, creating a healthier and stronger Nigeria. Feeding Over 500 Families Weekly We are currently feeding over 500 families in Nigeria every week, and our products are licensed for export to five countries in Europe and America. Our farm is fully integrated and organic, allowing Nigerians to enjoy fresh, safe, and nutritious food. Our aim is to prevent health problems caused by unhealthy foods and promote the idea that food should be medicine, not a killer. We are also committed to reducing food waste by using decomposing food as organic fertilizer. Our goal is to feed 1% of the Nigerian population by 2025. Innovative Food Pharmacy In addition, we have launched Nigeria's first innovative Food Pharmacy, a health and nutrition company that helps people avoid lifestyle diseases such as cancer and diabetes. Committed to UN Sustainable Development Goals As a team of 12 dedicated individuals, we are focused on achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 2 and 3: Zero Hunger and Good Health and Well-Being. We aim to achieve this by providing fresh farm produce and addressing the gaps in the food value chain across Africa.
