Problem: This proposal seeks to promote the innovative use of Moringa oleifera in animal farming by integrating Moringa powder into livestock feed and using biogas technology for energy generation. The project aims to establish a sustainable and profitable goat and sheep farm in Oyo State using Moringa powder as a natural growth promoter, biogas for energy generation, and animal dung as a feedstock for biogas production. The proposed project builds upon previous research that has demonstrated the potential of Moringa as a livestock feed and biogas technology as a sustainable solution for energy generation and waste management in animal farming. Studies have shown that the use of Moringa as a feed supplement can improve the growth rate and overall health of animals while biogas technology can provide a source of renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions By integrating Moringa powder into livestock feed and using biogas technology for energy generation, this project aims to promote the sustainable use of Moringa in animal farming and contribute to the development of a more sustainable and resilient food system.

Unique Selling Point: Today's youth are reluctant to farm because of discomfort of distant farmsteads (No electricity) This innovation would encourage youths to return to farming. Also the scramble for livestock feed experienced by farmers and the incidental costs would be greatly reduced.
