Problem: The problem we are tackling is the alarming rate of road accidents that continue to impact communities worldwide. Despite advancements in automotive technology, human error and lack of situational awareness remain significant contributors to road accidents. Our project aims to revolutionize road safety by leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to enhance the capabilities of vehicles and drivers. Our system provides an array of functionalities that work in harmony to prevent accidents and mitigate collision risks. By utilizing advanced sensors and AI algorithms, our system enables vehicles to seamlessly communicate with each other, exchanging critical information such as speed, location, and size, even when cars are approaching from corners, resulting in improved situational awareness for drivers. Furthermore, our AI-powered predictive analytics constantly assesses various factors, such as traffic patterns, road conditions, and driver behavior, to accurately predict potential collision risks. This information is then used to provide real-time warnings to drivers, allowing them to take preventive measures and avoid accidents. In cases where a driver loses control, our system takes over the driving, safely navigating the vehicle to avert potential collisions. Additionally, our system can detect when two vehicles are about to collide and take control of both cars, synchronizing their movements to avoid a crash. Furthermore, our system includes automatic speed limit restrictions based on government speed limit flags, except in emergency situations identified by the driver. This feature ensures compliance with speed limits and reduces the risk of accidents caused by speeding. In the unfortunate event of an accident, our system automatically sends out distress signals for help, ensuring prompt response and timely assistance to those involved.
