Problem: The Problem: Over the years, most local farmers spend a lot of time, money and man power to grow, process and package lower grade ginger roots covered with soil and infected with pest which fails to meet international market requirements for companies and Industries.

Unique Selling Point: What makes us unique is the new ginger washing/processing facility, which is expected to serve between 3,500 and 4,000 farm households. It will also create an important source of rural employment in this area through some 100 seasonal jobs (3 to 4 months per year). Approximately 200 collectors, transporters, processers and traders will also benefit from targeted training activities (focused on SPS requirements, post-harvest management). We target Pharmaceutical companies, biscuits and beverages companies. We will equip everyone by providing training equipments towards achieving success. We will source our best rhizomes roots from kubacha local government area of kaduna state at the rate of $0.50/Kg? N250/Kg, Cultivate , process and sell at the rate of $2.5/Kg? N1,250/Kg to make gross margin income (of between 25 and 30%) on ginger sales. The Average price of Fresh Organic Ginger, Dried Ginger and Powdered Ginger will be sold at the rate of $2.5/Kg? N1,250/Kg.
