We are trying to solve the critical lack of access to advanced neonatal incubator technology in developing regions, which is a major contributing factor to the high mortality rates of premature and low-birth-weight infants in these areas. Existing incubator solutions are often unaffordable, reliant on a stable electricity grid, and too complex for local healthcare workers to operate and maintain effectively.
Unique Selling Point: Currently, healthcare facilities in developing countries either lack access to incubators entirely or struggle to keep donated, high-tech incubators functional due to frequent power outages, lack of trained biomedical staff, and the inability to source replacement parts. Our solar-powered infant incubator is different in several key ways: Off-grid capability: It is powered by solar photovoltaic panels and battery backup, eliminating the need for a reliable grid electricity supply.
