Problem:
In March 2020, A study revealed that 65.3% of burnt victims at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital were victims of home cooking gas explosions. This percentage is staggering in itself, but it reflects the reality of one center and only one hospital. Now let's imagine these numbers across all 40,000 hospitals and clinics active in Nigeria today. This is not just data; it is the brutal truth of countless men and women enduring great damages and loss due to cooking gas explosions caused by gas leakages from cylinders; fortunately, it doesn't have to be this way.
In response to this problem, TXONE Technologies has developed a smart metering gas device that detects gas leakages in real time to ensure customers' safety. Our device also offers cylinder tracking in real-time, and refill scheduling
Future designs are not just for convenience but to save lives, our devices are seamlessly integrated with smart user interfaces, instantly alerting user smartphones to any development concerning the status of their gas cylinders to provide advanced control for cylinders in homes.
Unique Selling Point: People relied on manual knobs attached directly to gas cylinders to control the flow. However, these regulators have limitations. The knobs wear down, leading to leaks. Additionally, they lack the intelligence to detect critical problems like leaks, which can pose a serious safety risk in homes. Our product detects gas leakages in real time to ensure customers' safety and also offers cylinder tracking in real-time and refill scheduling. Before a customer runs out of gas, they can view from the friendly kitchen interface or notified on their mobile phones that the level of gas is running low and prompted to place an order for a refill conveniently.
