This leads to a loss of both nutritional and economic value, significantly impacting the income of farmers, fishers, and retailers.
COLD-ALIVE HUBS
"COLD-ALIVE" revolutionizes the cold chain industry by providing smallholder farmers with 24/7 storage and preservation services for perishable agricultural produce. Our "COLD ALIVE HUBS" are modular, solar-powered walk-in cold rooms, ensuring off-grid refrigeration for fresh produce and aquatic food. Coupled with a mobile application connecting farmers to food aggregators, we combat post-harvest losses effectively.
COLD ALIVE is a green cold chain enterprise that offers smallholder farmers of perishables agricultural produce 24/7 effective storage and preservation services and a mobile application that connects farmers to food aggregators to help reduce post-harvest losses.

Problem:
We are leveraging on renewable Energy to eliminating all forms of fresh fish and perishables spoilage completely, while making safer, nutritious agricultural produce such as fish and tomatoes available for consumption and saving the environment from Climate Change,
We are helping to Increase the household income of small scale farmers, artisanal fishermen, wholesalers and retailers, because spoilage has been eliminated and production cost is reduced.
We are creating employment for women, by recruiting and training them to work as Cold-Alive Hubs Operators and Market Attendants in the market
Unique Selling Point: People are currently using various methods to preserve perishable goods and keep them cold, such as ice packs, refrigerators, and coolers. However, these methods often come with limitations, such as the need for electricity, limited portability, and environmental impact. COLD ALIVE offers a unique solution by providing an innovative, portable, and sustainable cold storage system that does not require electricity. Our product utilizes advanced cooling technology, such as phase change materials or solar-powered refrigeration, to keep goods cold for extended periods without the need for external power sources. Unlike traditional refrigeration methods, COLD ALIVE is designed to be highly portable, making it ideal for use in remote areas, outdoor activities, or during transportation. Additionally, our product is eco-friendly, using non-toxic materials and minimizing energy consumption, reducing both costs and environmental impact.
