Description:
I am a determined goal-getter, not merely a goal-setter, but also an applied psychology student. My life’s journey as a visually impaired person has fueled a relentless quest for solutions. From a young age, aroused by curiosity, I embarked on a mission to enhance my life's navigation. Recognizing the challenges faced, especially in mobility and acquiring necessities efficiently, I conceived the idea of creating a platform. This platform aims to establish a community where I can easily connect with people to purchase items swiftly, minimizing the need for external assistance in physical tasks like commuting to the market and fixing things around the house. My proactive approach not only addresses personal challenges but also showcases an innovative mindset seeking practical solutions to improve daily life. I realized this solution can go beyond just myself, I can give more people access to it and also earn from it while at it. Conceiving the idea was only a part of it, I had to self-teach myself programming to enable me to bring this idea to life.
Stage of Innovation: MVP (You have a product ready to go to the market)
Problem:
Clientele acquisition for SMEs, and artisans across Nigeria. Especially those that cannot afford to sheell out a big chunk of money to contract a mega influencer to help attract customers
Unique Selling Point: Currently, artisans, and vendors are fond of using wahtsApp groups and statuses as mediums of advertising their skill or products alone, limiting them to just their contact lists to keep viewing redundant services. With Dey4U, they get to be on a bigger stage, people across Nigerian cities can reach out to them and get to patronize them seamlessly without having to worry about cutting extra budget other for marketing.
