Innovations Item Code: IN-2024-2100321
Sector: Renewable/Green Energy
Description:
UltraOne is a sound powered generated device that harnesses or seeks to utilize the sound or noise from the immediate surroundings to convert these sounds to usable power.
This is a device that comprises of two similar receptors of sound i.e. microphones and speakers to accumulate all kinds of sounds from the atmosphere. These sounds vary from low to high frequencies and intensities.
UltraOne will amplify these sounds(sounds with low frequency and intensity) to enable the conversion of sound to usable power.
In case there is no sound available, UltraOne has a feature that creates required vibrations to generate sound energy and convert it to power.
Stage of Innovation: Idea (You have thought it through and documented it)
Problem:
UltraOne is aiming to address the need for reliable, cleaner renewable energy sources. Unlike fossil fuels, sound is constantly present and can be utilized without depletion or reduction.
UltraOne has a minimal environmental impact compared to traditional non-renewable energy sources. They don’t produce greenhouse gas emissions or contribute to Water or Air pollution, this helping to mitigate Climate change and preserve ecosystems.
In remote areas where traditional power sources are scarce or unavailable e.g. in rural areas, UltraOne offers a viable alternative. It can provide reliable energy for essential services like lighting, healthcare and so on.
Unique Selling Point: The sales and production of solar panels are vastly and rapidly growing everyday. It is certainly a brilliant innovation to harness sunlight to produce electricity to homes, businesses etc. The only disadvantage of this innovation is that it requires sunlight to operate efficiently which means if there’s no sunlight, there’s no power. UltraOne is a very advantageous device. Sounds are made everyday whether unconsciously or consciously. All these sounds can be put to good use to produce a clean reliable renewable energy source that supplies electricity round-the-clock.
