I
Non-Invasive Blood Glucose Monitoring Device

Innovations Item Code: IN-2024-2100385

Sector: Health/Telemedicine

Description:

Glucosense" is a revolutionary non-invasive blood glucose monitoring device developed by [Your Name/Team]. It utilizes cutting-edge technology to make glucose monitoring painless and efficient.

The device employs an Arduino Nano board along with several components to accurately measure glucose levels in the blood without the need for invasive procedures. It features a gas sensor capable of detecting acetone levels in the user's breath. High acetone levels are indicative of high blood glucose levels, prompting the device to alert the user.

This device is equipped with a buzzer that sounds when acetone levels reach critical points, ensuring timely intervention. An RGB LED changes colors to indicate different levels of acetone in the breath, providing users with easy-to-understand visual feedback. Additionally, an LCD screen displays the precise glucose level, allowing for quick and convenient monitoring.

For user convenience, our device features a switch to turn off the LED and LCD display when not in use.

The sensor used for this prototype is an alcohol sensor as a MQ-138 gas sensor that detects acetone is not available at the moment

Stage of Innovation: Prototype (You have a working physical product)

Problem:

Our device is trying to solve the major problem of the Invasive blood glucose monitoring devices. Our device would not require the users to puncture themselves while trying to check their glucose level

Unique Selling Point: Our device is different because it is suitable for people with disabilities(deaf and blind people) where a LED changes color according to the acetone range in their breath and different buzzer sounds to alert the user of different levels of acetone in their breath
