Description: Land use optimization for maximum yield of vegetables. Improved quality for storage as dried vegetables. High yielding variation of the vegetables leading to a 12 times increase in productivity. Resilience to climate change and pests. A Nigerian breed of Microgreen from the plants.

Problem: We intend to create a plant Hybrid of Amaranth Greens that would be perennial and since it is well consumed all over Nigeria. So, we would make it cheaper and it would last longer than other vegetables seen in the market and can be easily processed and dried, retaining its nutritional content thereby increasing its market value for farmers.
